Quantities & Costs
-
Our minimum order quantity is one.
-
Each packaging run requires machine setup before production begins. This can include adjusting score wheels, positioning slots, mounting printing plates, attaching dies, and preparing the press. Setup also requires extra material for testing and calibration, which typically becomes scrap. Because these costs are fixed, they are spread across the order quantity which makes shorter runs more expensive per unit.

We use specialized equipment and custom software designed to make short runs more efficient. Many of our machines feature computer-assisted setups and stored job settings that significantly reduce setup time. We can also help design packaging that runs more efficiently at lower quantities. If you’re upfront about your expected order sizes, we’ll work with you to find the most cost-effective solution.
